We offer a wide range of campervan garage services, covering both the mechanical side of VW transporters and campervan/ motorhome leisure equipment. Whether you need brake pads or a full body restoration, an oil change or an engine conversion, a leisure battery or a full camper conversion, we can take it on! Get in touch with your requirements.
Sick of the financial guess work? We’re transparent about costs, so you can budget campervan maintenance and upgrades, without waiting for the unknown bill to arrive. Check out our price guide below for more information or get in touch today.
Whether it’s your annual campervan service or you’re getting ready for a big trip and want to make sure your van is up to the task, we have you covered with everything from a quick oil change to a full service.
Banged into a lamp post in Belgium, scraped a drystone wall in Cornwall, ripped your canvas roof? In almost 20 years of business, we’ve seen it all and fixed it all – head to our campervan garage.
Van gone into limp mode? Campervan built before VW created limp mode? Banging, clunking, not shifting, not starting, not stopping, not turning on? Yeah, we own 15 campervans, we get it, and we can help.
Particularly satisfying for VW T25 owners, engine upgrades can change how your campervan feels and how you use it. Our campervan garage specialises in converting T25s to GTi engines but also has experience with diesel options.
Let’s just say we know which way to point to the hot burny end. Our small team are welding pros, with decades spent looking at glowing metal through a visor. We’re equipped to deal with even the most intricate welds.
There are so many things that can go wrong with a campervan that keeping on top of it all can be a challenge; keeping up to date with basic maintenance can make a real difference. Oil, brakes, fluids, as well as complex interiors.
You’re sure it’s something but not sure what? Yeah, we get it. Don’t drive it ‘til it goes pop, bring it in, and our mechanics will give your camper or motorhome a once-over and identify the issue. A stitch in time and all that.
Our qualified and knowledgeable team of mechanics and tech’s will get your motorhome running smoothly, source and solve faults, complete servicing and make any upgrades you need.
Whether your camper has already failed its MOT or you just know it will, we can take the hassle out of getting back on the road. We work closely with our local test centre and do our best to get campers through with a single MOT fee.
Solar systems for going off-grid, spinning captain’s seats, a pop-top roof, diesel heaters, A/C units, new beds, new units, whatever your campervan needs to make that next trip more fun, we’ll sort it.
Sometimes it’s more than just maintenance or a quick upgrade. If your camper has lain roadside rotting for years, it might be time to go ‘all in’, new paint, new interior, new engine, a complete refurb.
Clearing away rust is great, but being left with a patchwork campervan is not; that’s why we offer a paint service ranging from quick touch-ups to complete respraying.
Below are some standard charges for common jobs. All prices include VAT and are for parts and labour, unless otherwise noted.
Includes: change engine oil and filter, air filter, fuel filter. Visual inspection of tyres, visible brake components, suspension bushes and ball joints, steering rack gaitors. Check brake fluid, power steering fluid, coolant, adblue (if applicable) and screenwash level, top up if necessary – extra charge for fluids). Advise timing belt change schedules. Cabin filter change is an optional extra if wanted (price based on T6 102ps model)
Change of timing belt, tensioners, any single use bolts, and water pump (price based on T6 102ps model)
We strongly recommend changing the dual mass flywheel (DMF) at the same time as the clutch, both because you have the gearbox out anyway, but also because when the clutch fails, the DMF often gets damaged anyway. We give prices with and without, but customer takes the risk if they elect not to change DMF! We fit LUK and sachs parts, which are the OEM supplier. (price based on T6 102ps model)
We offer 2 options, either with OEM best quality parts, or with alternative parts of acceptable quality. (Price based on T28/T30 models. Parts for T32 load rated cost a bit more)

Fully remanufactured gearbox, stronger internals, with 1 year warranty (clutch change recommended circa £130)
prices quoted from suppliers on 4 December 2025 and subject to change. They are based on what the job normally involves – i.e. if we encounter significant additional challenges (for example excessively seized components) during a task that slow us down significantly, we reserve the right to charge additional labour time. But we would always discuss this with you before proceeding. The odd rusted bolt we can easily overcome, but if the vehicle looks like its spent a decade at the bottom of an ocean, you might end up paying a bit more to cover the abnormal time taken!

Posted on Google Dick Philpot Hired 'Casper' an old workhorse of a van. It was an older van that had seen a bit of life just as described. But it was clean and comfortable. It drove well once I got the hang of being back in a manual diesel. Had a great few days away on the coast and at a small music festival. London campers is run by nice blokes. We are likely to use again.Posted on Google fergus Ribsin Perfect service. Rob and the team very friendly, helpful and responsive. Many thanksPosted on Google Zak Manseur straight forward no drama definitely coming back thank you very much Rob for your help, now I'm addicted to it 😂😂😂Posted on Google rainwaterhomestead Brilliant. Just bloody brilliant. This company is relaxed, affordable and delivers on it’s promises . Thanks.Posted on Google Michal Highly Recommended – Pistachio Van Was Perfect for Our Bank Holiday Adventure! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We rented the Pistachio van from London Campers for a 3-day bank holiday weekend trip with a team of 4, and it was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Pistachio is a fantastic camper van – spacious enough for four adults to sleep, cook, and relax comfortably without feeling cramped. The layout is really well thought out, with a proper kitchen setup, plenty of storage, and clever use of space. Everything was spotlessly clean when we picked it up, and the van felt very well-maintained. We especially loved the big windows and the way it handled on the road – smooth, reliable, and surprisingly easy to drive even on busy bank holiday roads. The team at London Campers was incredibly helpful and friendly. They gave us a thorough handover, answered all our questions, and made the whole process stress-free. The van came fully equipped with everything we needed, so we could just jump in and start our adventure. We had an amazing time exploring, and Pistachio made it all possible. It turned what could have been a logistical headache into one of the highlights of our trip. If you’re looking for a reliable, fun, and comfortable camper van rental in London, look no further – London Campers and the Pistachio van get our full recommendation! Would definitely rent again. Thank you! 🙌Posted on Google Gavin Batty What a great experience. Rob is a really nice guy who was really easy to deal with it - the whole rental process was incredibly simple and I couldn't have asked for a better service on reflection. Sylvester was a great van and exactly what I needed for the trip. Grateful to you Rob! It won't be my last hire...Posted on Google Philip Moore Rob made the experience easy with helpful videos of how things worked which were very useful to refer to. The van came well equipped and we had everything we needed for our holiday in the New Forest. We were at a site without electric hook up and I was impressed with the solar panel which kept the leasure battery topped up. I would recommend his company.Posted on Google Thea Wright Wow - WHAT A SERVICE AND WHAT A LOVELY GUY.....Posted on Google Louisa Boulton Great experience of hiring a van for a long weekend.Posted on Google Stephen Aspey We hired 'Vic', a VW T25 for a few days and had a great time. Vic is a bit 'long in the tooth' which is to be expected for a 1980's vehicle but it drove well and was comfortable and surprisingly spacious. We really enjoyed being in a classic van and had a great time. Rob is very friendly and supportive and available when needed if questions crop up.Google rating score: 4.7 of 5, based on 59 reviews
